We want to share an update regarding Nordic Valley’s next steps following the tragic fire that condemned our beloved “barn” last January 15. For so many of us, that building represented the heart and soul of the resort, making it incredibly bittersweet to watch as it was recently torn down.
Saying goodbye to such a significant part of our history has been challenging, yet we remain optimistic and determined as we look to the future. In the meantime, we will utilize a customized double manufactured home as a temporary skier service building, enabling us to continue serving our guests while providing a welcoming space during this transition. As we work on constructing a new brick-and-mortar skier services facility over the next few years, the temporary lodge will be relocated to adapt to the evolving landscape of the resort.
The Upcoming Weeks
Although the old structure of the “barn” is no longer standing, the spirit of Nordic Valley remains vibrant! We are enthusiastic about the future and dedicated to providing our community and guests with the best possible experience as we enter this new chapter. Apollo is nearing complete restoration!
