Looking for a personalized, one-on-one learning experience? Our private lessons are the ultimate way of learning for you. Whether you’re just learning how to ski or snowboard for the first time, or are looking to take your skiing and riding to the next level, our instructors are trained to teach all types of lessons from beginner to advanced. Lift tickets and rentals are not included in the price of lessons.
Lessons can have up to 6 people and require participants to be ages 4 and up.

World’s best Spring Break
Starting March 1st, 2025 till we close for the season, Nordic Valley will host the World’s Best Spring Break! Lift tickets as low as $19 with a $10 resort credit, rentals for $30, and beginner lessons for $50!
Private Lesson Frequently Asked Questions
Booking Information
To book a private lesson you can either email us at [email protected] or call us at 385-298-0151.
A lift ticket or season pass must be purchased with your private lesson. If you would like rentals you can add them at the checkout.
Important Information
- Must be at least 4 years old. Children 7 years old and under must take a private lesson.
- We suggest arriving at least an hour before your lesson start time. Traffic and variable road conditions may exist.
- Up to six people in a lesson
- Check-in for your private lesson is 30 minutes before your lesson start time. Upon arrival, please head straight to the ski school check-in at the base of Cub – the magic carpet.
- If you are late to your private lesson, your private lesson may be forfeited.
Reservation Policy
Private Lessons must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Please email [email protected] to check availability.
*All lessons should be purchased in advance. Day of lessons will not be available for purchase upon arrival. All lessons are subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
Private lessons follow the same cancellation policy as online purchases. Private lessons are non-refundable and non-creditable on or after the date valid. To cancel or reschedule your lesson(s), please contact [email protected] by 11:59pm the night before your arrival.
